2022 Minnesota Craft Beer Oktoberfest Calendar
Craft beer drinkers have probably been enjoying Oktoberfest Marzen and Festbiers for a while thanks to seasonal creep. However, the time for polka bands, pretzels, and the stein-clinking of Oktoberfest beers is finally here. This tradition takes on many forms, depending on where you go. However, the spirit of fun and community that has spanned centuries is alive and well all over the great state of Minnesota.
I love this time of year! In fact, last year, I wrote about my unabashed passion for a great Oktoberfest party. This year, I wanted to highlight the places, locally, where one can find an Oktoberfest celebraation. Here is a list of all the places you can find some iteration of an Oktoberfest party in Minnesota’s craft beer playground. I tried to compile as exhaustive a list as I could. If you favorite brewery is having an Oktoberfest event and is not on here, please don’t send hate mail; I tried and I do this for free. I have also tried to link to as many Oktoberfest event pages online as I could find.
If a brewery is having a fall festival where an Oktoberfest beer is available but not the focal point, it is indicated. Personally, when I am in Oktoberfest-mode, I like to drink the style. So, if a brewery is having an Oktoberfest, but there isn’t an Oktoberfest on tap, that is also indicated. Happy prosting, and I hope to see you all out in your lederhosen and your smiles. Prost!
